MBH Design Studio Ltd. has been entrusted with the task of designing the interior layout for a new go-karting center located within The Wall, an XL stores shopping center spanning 65,000 square meters in Utrecht. 'The Wall' stands as an imposing 800-meter-long structure, serving as an acoustic buffer separating the A2 motorway from the neighboring suburban regions. The building is remarkable for its distinctive architecture and vibrant color palette, with both the retail and highway-facing sides showcasing striking aesthetics.
Hidden behind the bold, red, curvilinear walls are an assortment of expansive stores, dining establishments, culinary outlets, and sports facilities. Additionally, the colossal roof structure provides parking space for 1,400 vehicles, spread across an area of approximately 36,000 square meters, primarily paved with Pardak.
At the nception of this project, two ground-floor units within The Wall remained unoccupied. MBH Design Studio Ltd.'s proposed scope of work encompasses the installation of partition walls, selection and application of floor and ceiling finishes, as well as the incorporation of a range of mechanical and electrical systems to bring this exciting go-karting center to life.
