Tesco enlisted our architectural expertise as part of their high-speed program, with the objective of introducing a top-tier coffee experience to the high street through the Harris Hoole brand, guided by the principle of making 'good coffee for everyone' accessible.

Our creative directive revolved around the design of distinctive and individualized atmospheres for each store, steering clear of the standardized chain model. Our ambition was to craft coffee establishments that emanate a sense of coziness, sophistication, and a resolute commitment to serving outstanding coffee and fresh culinary offerings.

An exemplary case in point is H+H Twickenham, formerly a Clinton Cards shop, which has been reborn as a coffee shop. Our approach prioritizes seamless integration with the surrounding environment, preserving the unique architectural features while staying loyal to the brand's identity. This strategy has led to genuinely unique design solutions, tailored to the specific dimensions, proportions, and locations of each site.

Our primary objective for H+H Twickenham was to conserve the intrinsic character of the original walls and ceilings, thus safeguarding the local historical essence within the café's overall ambiance.
