The site's prominent location in the heart of Tonbridge town centre, held under private ownership, presented a compelling opportunity for a transformative development project. The primary vision behind this endeavour was to convert the existing three-story office building into a collection of 24 one and two-bedroom flats, all designed to meet contemporary development space standards. The overarching objective was to elevate the quality of life for the future residents while effectively managing the project within the constraints of a demanding budget.

It's worth highlighting that the ground floor of the building was preserved for office use, but not without strategic improvements to the layout, optimizing both functionality and aesthetics. Our comprehensive scope of work encompassed a range of essential tasks. This included the initial design phase, the meticulous preparation of tenders to facilitate the selection of contractors, and the critical responsibility of on-site supervision. Additionally, MBH undertook the vital role of principal designer, ensuring that all aspects of the project adhered to the highest safety and design standards.
