The site is close situated on Guildford Road near Exit 11 to M25. MBH were appointed as the lead designers and design coordinator for the redevelopment of the existing PFS and increasing the facilities to include a bigger shop, improved forecourt layout upgraded to latest industry and environmental standards as well as EVC facility. 

The redevelopment detailed design unfolded over several years as our design experts fulfilled the client brief on a small site as well as accommodated Local Authority requirements for SUDS, aesthetic and acoustic considerations for the adjacent residents. The various tress immediately outside the site and their root protection zones were taken into consideration along with the extensive Leyland hedge to the rear of the site and carefully retained as per specialist measures. It was a challenge to position the substation now required for the increased Electricity demand on this site and to design out the various risks involving HV cable routes and petroleum hazard zones as well as fitting in the attenuation crates. Each aspect was closely discussed with the relevant specialists (including the DNO) and value engineered to deliver a safe and workable design with multiple customer offers. 

The redeveloped site was open to public in 2022 and offers multiple petroleum fuels at its four square island layout under the forecourt canopy and 2 nos. EV chargers along with increased car parking bays and bigger facility.
